Hey Friends!
One of the fun things I'm doing this summer is working for Pawn to Queen Chess Coaching, by kids for kids! I was recently promoted and now serve the roles of Advanced Coach as well as Director of Curriculum, where I get to design many exercises and videos to help folks learn chess. Below you'll find my video "How to Play Chess" designed to help someone completely unfamiliar with the game playing in no time!
Now that you know how to play the game, check out a chess website to practice your skills! ChessKid.com is great for our younger audiences, Chess.com or Lichess.org for the rest.
I've been playing tournament chess since I was 6. I'm a regular chess blogger on Blog | Chess Friends Books and I compete and coach regularly. I have the title of AFM (Arena FIDE Master) and have won the US Junior Open and multiple seasons of the Rookly esports league. I have also served as a Tournament Director and organized several events.
Many blog posts will feature chess lessons designed to help you improve your game and vary in level from total beginners like this one to advanced tournament players so stay tuned!
That’s all for now. See y’all next time! Sarang out.

Great lesson! Thanks Master Sarang!
Good stuff! Excited to see more of your pedagogical choices in action in future blogs.
