Who We Are

Hi Friends!

I'm Sarang. I'm 12. I’ve been called a lot of things in my life, including prodigy, genius, savant, neurodivergent, and so many more. While those may be true, I’m just a kid with a lot to share and I LOVE strategic thinking, aka strats. I’ve been fortunate to have worked with many incredible coaches and teachers, and learned from top schools like Stanford, Yale, Princeton, and Berklee, to name a few. I’ve also coached many chess players and teams, podcasted, blogged, authored multiple books and numerous articles, and competed and won multiple national and international accolades in chess, music, and gaming.

I also want to introduce you to my little brother Vivaan. He's 8. He’s a lot like me and a little different in many ways, with tons of incredible accomplishments, and more importantly amazing, unique perspectives he’s eager to share. You can read his ideas and fun puzzles on the tab Vivaan’s Corner. We are a homeschooling family in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States of America. Some pillars of our homeschooling experience are chess, music, and travel, all of which will feature prominently on Sarang's Blog. We look forward to learning together!

Cheers!
